Terms of Service
Stayvana provides an interface for customers to view and book properties. Our services include a payment gateway where customers can book properties and block them for selected dates. By accessing or using Stayvana, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
Terms of Service for Indian Users
1. Booking and Payment
Booking Process
Customers can browse and book properties through our website with integrated payment gateway.
Payment
At the time of booking, customers are required to pay Advance amount set by the property owner through the Stayvana. The remaining balance is to be during checkin through stayvana or paid directly to the property owner.
Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once the initial advance amount is received.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Full Refund
Customers can receive a full refund of the booking amount (excluding any applicable payment gateway or transaction fees) if they cancel at least 3 days before the booking date.
Partial Refund
Customers can receive a 50% refund of the booking amount (after deducting payment gateway or transaction fees) if they cancel the booking between 3 days and 48 hours before the booking date.
No Refund
No refunds will be provided if the cancellation is made at or after 48 hours left for the booking.
How To Cancel
To cancel a booking, customers can visit the trips page under the user panel and manually cancell the book or they can contact Stayvana customer support via email or phone.
Refund Timeline
Refunds (after deducting applicable payment gateway or transaction fees) will be processed within 4-6 business days.
Force Refund
Refunds issued under force-refund scenarios will also be subject to deduction of payment gateway or transaction fees and will be reflected in the account within 4-6 business days.
3. Guest Conduct and Liability
Stayvana is not responsible for the conduct of guests during their stay. If a property owner finds a guest's behavior or activities in violation of local laws, they may terminate or cancel the booking without a refund.
4. Property Listing for Owners
Listing Properties
Property owners can now submit a listing request directly on the Stayvana website. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and accepted only after Stayvana verifies the property.
Payment Timeline
During the initial days of the website, until otherwise announced, payments made for properties will reflect in your account within a minimum of T+2 days to a maximum of T+4 days, depending on whether the payment falls on a weekday or weekend (as per Razorpay’s policy).
Property Management
Existing property owners cannot cancel their listings directly through the website except for reasons beyond their control. To remove a property listing, owners must contact Stayvana customer support with a valid reason.
5. Responsibilities and Liabilities
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process and ensuring timely payments.
Owner Responsibilities
Property owners are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their property listings and ensuring availability as per the booking confirmation.
Limitation of Liability
Stayvana is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to the accuracy of property listings, booking issues, or payment disputes.
6. Modifications and Termination
Changes To Terms
Stayvana reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
Termination
Stayvana may terminate or suspend access to our services without prior notice or liability for any reason, including violation of these terms.
